Confessional

I vividly remember walking through the mall in the late 90's extremely frustrated because I didn't like any of the styles. Even at the age of 15, Abercrombie and Fitch failed to fit my petite frame. And although I refuse to give them up, I knew my mother was right when she said Dr. Martins looked like clown shoes on my feet. Needless to say, I have been thrilled that flowy feminine patterns and fabrics were popular. Until now. So what's my confession? I hate the new "military" style. If i spend time curling my hair and painting my nails and lips pink, why on earth would I put on a masculine military green jacket with studded jewelry? Not only are green, khaki and brown not attractive, most of the items are unflattering to the female body. What do you think?

About Me

Washington, DC
They say, "DC has Northern hospitality with a southern pace of progress." The same is true when it comes to fashion: southern style combined with the restrictions of Northern weather and Wall-Street black suit. My goal is to add some color to the mix on the limited budget most young professionals in the District face.
